This is a Sodium Citrate Solution USP that can be used with an apheresis device only. The solution is sterile, nonpyrogenic, and each 100 mL contains 4 g Sodium Citrate (Dihydrate) USP, pH adjusted with citric acid. It is not recommended for direct intravenous infusion and is a single-use container; any unused container must be discarded. The user must check for minute leaks by squeezing the inner bag firmly before use; if a leak is found, the solution cannot be used as it would impair sterility. The container must not be removed from the overwrap until ready for use, and it should be stored at a controlled room temperature. The manufacturer, Fresenius Kabi AG, is based in Bad Homburg, Germany.*
