This is an ophthalmic solution called Mydriacyl. It contains Tropicamide (1%) and is used as a sterile anticholinergic agent. The medication is used topically on the eyes and the usual dosage is one or two drops. It has a preservative called Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01%) and other inactive ingredients like sodium chloride, edentate disodium, hydrochloric acid, and purified water. It is distributed by Alcon Laboratories Inc. in Japan, and the package includes enclosed insert. The solution must be stored at temperatures between 8-27°C and should not be refrigerated or stored in high temperatures.*
