Directions (Directions)
STASIS is a product that is best used at room temperature with tools such as cotton pellets, sponges or syringes with tips. It can be applied to unmedicated retraction cord or braid which can then be packed into the gingival sulcus area for a few minutes before being removed and rinsed. For silicone or rubber-based impressions, the area should be thoroughly dried, while for hydrocolloid or alginate impressions it should be rinsed and wet. STASIS induces rapid coagulation, but if severe bleeding persists, pressure can be applied with cotton-tipped applicators. Scrubbing or burnishing is not recommended and could potentially harm the gingival tissue.*
