This is a drug fact sheet for a topical solution called Clotrimazole. It is a USP, 1% antifungal solution used to cure athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It effectively relieves itching, burning, and cracking discomfort. The medication should be kept out of the reach of children, and if swallowed, medical attention should be sought immediately. The user should clean the affected area and dry it thoroughly before applying the solution twice daily for four weeks in the case of athlete's foot and ringworm and two weeks for jock itch. The medication should not be used on nails or the scalp. It comes with inactive ingredients, including polyethylene gfycol 400, and is not for ophthalmic use.*
