Lidocaine 4% Topical Anesthetic Cream is a medication used for temporary relief from minor pain and itching due to minor cuts, minor scrapes, minor burns, sunburns, minor irritations, and insect bites. This cream is for external use only and should not be used in or near the eyes or on large quantities, particularly over raw or blistered areas. The cream is applied externally to the affected areas up to 3 or 4 times a day for patients of 2 years and older, and for children under 2 years of age, it is advised to consult a doctor. The cream should be kept out of reach of children and should not be swallowed. The product contains inactive ingredients such as Polyoxyl 40 Stearate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Propylene Glycol, Povidone, and White petrolatum. Lidocaine 4% Topical Anesthetic Cream is a medication meant for external use only. Inactive ingredients in the cream include sency alcohol, carbopol 4, hydrogenated lecithin, polysorbate 8, propylene glycol, purified water, troamine, and vitamin E.
