This is a description of Ultra Strength Antacid chewable tablets in Tropical Fruit flavor. Each tablet contains 1000mg of calcium carbonate and is intended for adults and children 12 years and older. The tablets are used to relieve symptoms of acid indigestion and upset stomach. It is recommended to chew 2 tablets 2 times a day or as directed by a doctor. The maximum dosage is 8 tablets in 24 hours and should not be used for more than 2 weeks without medical advice. The product contains FD&C Yellow No. 5 and is not to be taken by pregnant women without consulting a physician.
