Isopropylalcohol (Isopropylalcohol)
This is a drug fact label for a first aid antiseptic solution that contains 70% isopropyl alcohol. The medication is used to prevent the risk of infection caused by minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It is only for external use and should be kept away from heat, sparks, and flames. The solution is not to be used on deep or serious wounds, animal bites or serious burns. If the condition persists or worsens, a doctor should be consulted. The solution should not be applied over large areas of the skin and should not be used for more than a week unless directed by a doctor. If swallowed, one should seek medical help or contact a poison control center right away. The inactive ingredients include FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C, Methyl Salicylate, PEG-75 Lanalin.
