OXYGEN, REFRIGERATED LIQUID USP UN1073 is a dangerous substance containing refrigerated gas that may cause cryogenic burns or injury. The content of the container may also cause or intensify fire. It is essential to handle the substance with gloves, a face shield, and eye protection. It is important to keep the valves and fittings free from grease and oil, avoid spills, and store the container in an upright position. Oxygen must only be used with compatible equipment rated for cylinder pressure and cleaned for oxygen service. The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) should be read and followed before use. The substance must be used only by a properly trained person for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. High concentrations of oxygen over a long period without monitoring may be harmful. The container must be refilled with oxygen USP only by an establishment registered as a drug manufacturer.*
