Sheffield Pharmaceuticals offers a maximum strength hydrocortisone cream, Dr. Sheffield's, for temporary relief of itching due to minor skin irritations such as poison ivy, insect bites, eczema, and more. The active ingredient is Hydrocortisone 1% and the cream is for external use only. The cream should not be used to treat diaper rash or external genital itching without consulting a doctor. The cream should also be kept away from the eyes and rectum. The recommended dosage, for adults and children over 2 years, is not more than 3-4 times daily. The product should be stored at a controlled room temperature.*
