The saline packets provide temporary relief for symptoms related to the common cold, allergies, sinusitis and flu, which includes sneezing, runny nose, nasal stuffiness, and post-nasal drip. Each packet contains two active ingredients, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Sodium Chloride that helps in alleviating the symptoms caused by sinus infections, dry air, nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, and rhinitis of pregnancy. However, it is important to inspect the saline solution packets for any damage, and avoid using them if they are torn or opened. Adults and children four years and over can use 1-2 packets every two hours, but children younger than four should consult a doctor.
