This is an oral solution with cetirizine hydrochloride, an antihistamine, used for temporarily relieving allergic symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies. It can help in relieving sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and itchy throat or nose in children who are two years old or above. The solution is available only in Original Prescription Strength and comes with a dosing cup for administration. However, individuals who have ever had an allergic reaction to an antihistamine containing hydroxyzine should refrain from using it. It may also cause drowsiness, and patients should avoid alcoholic drinks, sedatives, and tranquilizers. Overdose of the solution may cause medical emergencies, and reaching out to medical help immediately is advised. The solution should be kept out of reach of children and should not be given to anyone under two years of age.*
