The product is only for external use, and individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disease or those with difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate gland should ask a doctor before use. The product comes in the form of a cooling gel that contains aloe vera and witch hazel as inactive ingredients. Directions include cleansing the affected area before applying the gel up to four times a day. The product should not be used in the rectum and should be kept out of reach of children. If the condition gets worse or does not improve within seven days, a doctor should be consulted.*
