This is a drug fact sheet for an extended-release tablet containing Guaifenesin 600 mg which is used as an expectorant to help loosen mucus and thin bronchial secretions for the temporary relief of chest congestion. It should not be used by children under 12 years of age and precautions should be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women.
