This is a medication in tablet form for urinary tract pain relief. The active ingredients are Methenamine and Sodium Salicylate. Methenamine helps control the infection, and Sodium Salicylate is a pain reliever. The medication should not be used for more than three days, unless directed by a doctor. The product carries warnings for children and teens who have, or are recovering from chickenpox as it may cause a serious illness - Reye's Syndrome. It also includes a caution for those who are allergic to salicylates, have stomach problems, high blood pressure, or are taking a diuretic. It also specifically states the medication should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women without consulting with a healthcare provider. If ringing in the ears is experienced or any signs of stomach bleeding occur, the user should stop using the medication and consult with a doctor. The medication should be kept out of reach of children and should be stored in a dry place between 53-86°F.*
