Children's Allergy Relief - Loratadine Chewable Tablets USP, 5mg is an antihistamine used to temporarily relieve symptoms due to hay fever or other respiratory allergies, such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy throat, nose or watery eyes. This product is grape-flavored and is recommended for children aged 6 years and above with dosage dependent on the age group. This medication is only for temporary relief and must be taken as directed, and not more than directed, as taking an overdose may cause drowsiness. It contains synthetic ingredients such as aspartame, citric acid, silicon dioxide, etc., and the presence of phenylalanine is a caution for phenylketonurics. However, it is not recommended for children under the age of 2 and not to be used if the user has previously had an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients.*
