However, it should not be used by people with a history of stomach problems, high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, asthma or stroke, among others. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should check with a healthcare professional before use, especially during the last three months of pregnancy. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is up to 2 caplets every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. If overdose occurs, medical help or a Poison Control Center should be contacted immediately.*
