It is used for temporary relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or sinusitis, as well as to clear nasal passages. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage and not to use it for more than 3 days. There are warnings about potential side effects like burning or sneezing and precautions for individuals with certain medical conditions. It is for adults and children over 12 years old, with instructions to use 1 or 2 drops in each nostril not more often than every 6 hours.
