This medication is Nitrofurantoin, an antibacterial used to treat urinary tract infections. Each hard gelatin capsule contains either 75 mg or 25 mg of Nitrofurantoin. The usual dosage is one 100 mg capsule every 12 hours with food. The medication should be stored at a temperature between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) and kept in a tightly closed container out of reach of children.
