Additive Solution Formula 3 (AS-3) is a sterile and non-pyrogenic solution which comes in a 6 x 6 x 100 mL unit bag made of polyolefin. It is manufactured by TERUMO BCT, INC. and is meant for use only with Trima Accel red blood cell apheresis collections. The solution contains various ingredients, including Dextrose Monohydrate, Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate, Sodium Chloride, Monobasic Sodium Phosphate Monohydrate, Citric Acid Monohydrate, and Adenine, in Water for Injection. The recommended storage temperature is up to 25°C, and the product should be protected from freezing. Caution is advised, as the solution should not be used if the bag is damaged or if it contains particulate matter. This is a single-use bag, and any unused product should be discarded. This solution is manufactured by TERUMO BCT, INC. and each 100 mL contains Dextrose Monohydrate USP 110 g, Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate USP 0.588¢, Sodium Chloride USP 04109, Monobasic Sodium Phosphate Monohydrate USP 0.2769g, Citric Acid Monohydrate USP 0.042¢g, Adenine USP 0.0309g in Water for Injection USP. The solution is sterilized with steam and should not be used if the bag is damaged, or if the solution is not clear and free of particulate matter. It is not for direct intravenous infusion and is for single use only. The recommended storage is up to 25°C, and it should be protected from freezing. The lot expiry date is also available.*
