Sodium Citrate 4% w/v Anticoagulant Solution USP is a sterile and non-pyrogenic solution used only for the anticoagulation of whole blood as part of automated apheresis procedures. This solution is contained in a polyolefin bag with 30 x 250 mL units and has a recommended storage temperature of up to 25 °C, protected from freezing. Each 100 mL of the solution contains Sodium Citrate Dihydrate 409 and Water for Injection to 100 mL, with pH adjustment done with citric acid. The solution is manufactured by Terumo BCT, Inc. and is specifically designed for use with automated apheresis procedures. It is important to read the package insert before application and only use the solution if it is clear and the container is undamaged. This product is not for direct intravenous infusion and is for single use only.*
