Polyvinyl Alcohol Eye drops are used as a lubricant to relieve eye dryness and prevent irritation. The active ingredient, Polyvinyl alcohol USP, is present at 1.4% w/v concentration. This product contains inactive ingredients such as Benzalkorium Chloride, EDTA disodium salt, Purified water, Povidone, and sodium chloride. To use, the drops should be instilled in the affected eye. Users should avoid touching the nozzle or any surface that can contaminate the solution. The product is available in a sterile 5 mL bottle, which comes with a tamper-evident ring attached to the bottle cap. If the solution turns cloudy or changes color, or if the user experiences continued redness or pain, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, they should consult a doctor.
