Phenobarbital Oral Solution, USP is a medication dispensed in 16 fl oz bottle, containing 20 mg/5 mL of Phenobarbital. It is an oral solution, used for the treatment of seizure disorders. The inactive ingredients in the solution include Glycerin, Sucrose, FDG Red #40, Orange Flavor and Purified Water. The dosage should be prescribed by a doctor or as per the package insert. The medication should be stored at a temperature of 20°C to 25°C and dispensed in a tight, light-resistant container with a child-resistant closure. Tamper evident mechanism is in place to ensure that the bottle is not consumed if the inner foil seal over the mouth of the bottle is cut, torn, or broken.
