This is a drug facts sheet for a lubricant eye ointment containing mineral oil and white petrolatum to temporarily relieve dryness, burning, and irritation of the eyes. The container should not be used if the bottom ridge is exposed, and the tip of the container should not be contaminated by touching it to any surface. The directions are to apply a small amount of one-fourth inch of the ointment to the inside of the eyelid one or more times a day or as directed by the doctor. The product contains no preservatives or lanolin, and the ointment should be stored away from heat and freezing. The box also provides a phone number for any questions.*
