This is a description for a sterile ophthalmic solution called Betaxolol Ophthalmic Solution, used for treating eye problems. The solution comes in a 5mL package and contains 5.6 mg/ml of Betaxolol Hydrochloride which is equivalent to 5 mg of Betaxolol base. It is recommended to use one to two drops in the affected eye(s) twice a day. It is important not to touch the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. The solution also contains inactive ingredients such as Edetate Disodium, Sodium Chloride, Hydrochloric Acid and/or Sodium Hydroxide, and Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% as a preservative. It should be stored at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.*

This is a medicine called Betaxolol Ophthalmic Solution that is intended for Ophthalmic use only. The recommended dosage is one to two drops in the affected eye(s) twice daily. The storage temperature should be between 20°C to 25°C. It contains 5.6 mg Betaxolol Hydrochloride equivalent to betaxolol base 5 mg. There are some inactive ingredients which are Edetate Disodium, Sodium Chloride, Hydrochloric Acid and/or Sodium Hydroxide which may be added for pH adjustment and Water for Injection. The Preservative used is Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01%. Do not touch the dropper to any surface, as this may contaminate the Sterile solution. The product is manufactured by Akorn, Inc. in Lake Forest, IL 60045.*
