Adenosine Injection, USP is a medication used for rapid bolus intravenous use for treating certain heart conditions. Each 2 mL vial contains 3 mg Adenosine and 9 mg Sodium Chloride. It is sterile and nonpyrogenic and should not be refrigerated to avoid crystallization. The solution must be clear and particle-free before use. The recommended dosage is available in the package insert. Adenosine Injection, USP is manufactured by Novaplus and 10 vials of 2 mL each are provided. For storage, it should be kept at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).*
