Each chewable tablet contains 1000mg of calcium carbonate and is naturally and artificially flavored with peppermint. The active ingredient in TUMS Ultra Strength is calcium carbonate. The product should be used as an occasional treatment for short-term symptoms and not for symptoms that persist for more than 2 weeks. The product contains inactive ingredients such as dextrose, flavors, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, starch and sucralose.
