Fluocinonide is a Topical Solution used for topical use only and not for ophthalmic use. It is Tamper Evident and should not be used if shrink seal is broken or missing. Each 60 mL of solution contains 0.5 mg of Fluocinonide (0.05%) in a clear, transparent solution of ethyl alcohol, citric acid monohydrate, diisopropyl adipate, propylene glycol, and purified water. The usual dose is a small amount should be applied to the affected area two to four times daily, as needed. It should be stored at 20-25°C (68 - 77°F), with excursions permitted to 15-30°C (59 - 86°F), and kept away from excessive heat, above 40°C (104°F).
