This is a description of Encube Metronidazole Vaginal Gel, 0.75%. The gel comes in a 70g tube and includes 5 applicators. It is intended for intravaginal use only and should not be used orally, dermally, or for ophthalmic use. Each gram of the gel contains 7.5 mg of metronidazole and 0.8 mg of methyl paraben. It also contains propyl paraben, purified water, propylene glycol, carbopol 974P, and edetate disodium. The gel should be inserted into the vagina once or twice daily for 5 days or as directed by a physician. The tube comes with a metal tamper-resistant seal. The product is manufactured by Encube Ethicals Private Limited in Goa, India and distributed by Encube Ethicals, Inc. in Durham, NC, USA. Additional instructions and information can be found in the package insert. The product should be stored at room temperature between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F) and protected from freezing.*
