AcetaZOLAMIDE for Injection USP is a single-dose vial for intravenous use only. The vial contains Acetazolamide Sodium equivalent 10 500 mg Acetazolamide USP with pH adjusted to approximately 9.6 with Sodium Hydroxide NF and Hydrochloric Acid NF if necessary. It must be reconstituted and the reconstituted solution should be stored in a refrigerator at 2°to 8°C (36° to 46°F). It is essential to use it within 12 hours of reconstitution. It contains no preservative and must be stored at 20°to 25°C (68° to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15°to 30°C (59° to 86°F) [See USP Controlled Room Temperature].
