Carton Alrex
Alrex is a sterile ophthalmic suspension for topical ophthalmic use only. It contains Loteprednol Etabonate 2 mg (0.2%) as the active ingredient and benzalkonium chloride 0.01% as the preservative. The suspension is isotonic with a tonicity of 250 to 310 mOsmol/kg. It is essentially composed of edetate disodium, glycerin, povidone, purified water, and tyloxapol. Alrex should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used if the neckband is missing or the protective seal is not intact. Prior to use, it should be shaken vigorously. Bausch & Lomb Americas Inc. distributes Alrex, while Bausch & Lomb Incorporated manufactures it.*
