The active ingredient in the product is Sodium Chloride, which is used for temporary relief of corneal edema. The product should be used externally and not frozen. Using the product may cause temporary burning and irritation of the eye. The product should not be used be used for more than 72 hours, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. The ointment should be applied every 3 or 4 hours or as directed by a doctor. The product should be stored at 15-25°C (50-77°F). The product comes in 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz tubes.
