Zirgan is an ophthalmic gel containing ganciclovir as an active ingredient. Each gram of gel contains 15mg (0.15%) of ganciclovir, carbomer homopolymer, water, sodium hydroxide, mannitol and benzalkonium chloride as preservative. Zirgan is manufactured by Bausch & Lomb and distributed by Bausch Health. It is a topical medication for ophthalmic use only and requires a prescription. Dosage instructions can be found in the package insert. It should be stored at 15°C to 25°C and kept away from children. Zirgan is a trademark of Laboratoires Théa Corporation.*
