LACRISERT® is an ophthalmic insert containing hydroxypropyl cellulose. It is used to treat chronic dry eye conditions. The usual dosage is one insert placed in the affected eye(s), but it should only be used as directed by a healthcare professional. LACRISERT® comes with sterile applicators and a storage container.
