LACRISERT® is an ophthalmic insert containing hydroxypropyl cellulose. It is used to treat chronic dry eye conditions. The usual dosage is one insert placed in the affected eye(s), but it should only be used as directed by a healthcare professional. LACRISERT® comes with sterile applicators and a storage container. The packaging is not child-resistant and should be kept out of reach of children. It should be stored below 25°C (77°F).*
