Ammonia N 13 injection USP is a diagnostic only injection for intravenous use. It is sterile, non-pyrogenic, and has a short shelf life of 30 minutes after the End of Synthesis (EOS). The batch number, EOS date and time, activity, concentration, and volume are all listed on the packaging. Each mL contains 3.76mCi to 375 ImCi of no carrier added ammonia at EOS and 9.0 mg of Isodium chloride. It is important to store it at the correct temperature and in a shielded container.
