Fast Relief AlivioRépido is a sugar-free antacid that helps relieve heartburn, upset stomach, indigestion, and acid indigestion. It contains sodium bicarbonate as the active ingredient. It is not safe for children under 12 years of age. The dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is one tablespoonful (15 mL) every four hours, not exceeding six tablespoons (90 mL) in 24 hours. It is advised to consult a doctor before use if one has sodium-restricted diets or is currently taking a prescribed drug. The inactive ingredients include glycerin, peppermint essence, purified water, and rhubarb fluid. It comes in a plastic bottle that must be kept closed at room temperature and protected from light. If one experiences severe stomach pain after taking the product, it is advised to stop using it and consult a doctor. The label warns against using it in case of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or symptoms of appendicitis. The label also warns against using it if one is allergic to any of its ingredients and keeping it out of reach of children. The product contains 5.5% alcohol.*
