Mucus Relief PE is a medication that, thanks to its active ingredients guaifenesin and phenylephrine HCl helps relieve symptoms of cough, cold, allergies and other respiratory conditions. Its formula works as an expectorant, helping to loosen mucus and make coughs more productive, as well as clearing nasal congestion and stuffy noses. People 12 years and over can take one tablet every 4 hours, but it is advised not to exceed more than 6 doses in a day. Children under six should consult a doctor. The medication should be kept out of reach of children, and if there is an overdose, it is recommended to contact a Poison Control Center immediately. The tablet comes with inactive ingredients such as croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium silicate, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, mineral oil, povidone, silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, titanium dioxide, and triacetin.
