NDC 24470-935-12 is a prescription-only cleansing gel containing Sodium Sulfacetamide 10%. It is available in a 12 oz. (355 mL) bottle. The gel is intended for topical application and is used to treat scaling dermatoses such as seborrheic dermatitis and seborrheic keratosis. It can also be used for the treatment of secondary bacterial infections of the skin caused by susceptible organisms. This product is contraindicated in individuals with known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. It should not be used by patients with kidney disease. The recommended dosage and administration is to wash the affected areas twice daily (morning and evening) or as directed by a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. The gel should be massaged gently into the skin for 10-20 seconds and then rinsed thoroughly. If skin dryness occurs, a moisturizing cleanser can be used. Regular shampooing of the hair is recommended, and the interval between applications can be lengthened as the condition improves. If the condition recurs after stopping therapy, the gel should be reapplied. The gel should be stored between 15°C and 30°C (between 59°F and 86°F) and protected from freezing and excessive heat. It is important to keep this product out of reach of children. For any adverse events or product information, contact Cintox Services.*
