Diabecline is a drug that may be used for first aid to prevent infection in wounds. It is a tetra-cycling HCl antibiotic in the form of an ointment containing 3% Tetracycline. The product comes with an EasyScrap™ swab handle to apply the ointment properly. You need to apply a small amount of the product (equal to the surface area of the tip of a finger) to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day. If a sterile bandage may be used to cover it and should discard the swab after each use. It must not be used for skin allergies or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inactive ingredients include vitamin D3, vitamin K3, and dimethyl sulfoxide.*
