This is a description of a skin bleaching cream that contains 2% hydroquinone USP; each gram of cream contains 40mg Hydroquinone USP in a vanishing cream base. The cream also contains some other chemicals such as purified water, sodium metabisulfite, squalane, and others. It is advisable to use an effective broad-spectrum sun-blocking agent since it does not contain sunscreen. The cream should be applied to the affected areas twice daily or as directed by the physician. It is for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children. The cream should be stored at a temperature of 20°C -25°C (68°F-77°F). The package contains important information about the product. Additionally, a warning is included on the package that the cream contains sodium metabisulfite, which may cause allergic-type reactions, including anaphylactic symptoms in certain susceptible people.*
