This is a prescription fluoride treatment gel used to help prevent dental decay. The gel is normally used as a preventive caries treatment two times a year, and patients are instructed to expectorate any excess gel and not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes. It comes in a 16 oz. (454 g) MARSHMALLOW flavor tube, and the active ingredient is Fluoride lon 1.23%. The product should be stored below 25°C/77F and should not be frozen.
