The NDC# 24794 106 16 Fluoride Gel is a prescription fluoride treatment gel with a 1.23% fluoride ion that is used to prevent dental decay in professional settings. This stable thixotropic gel comes in a watermelon flavor and is available in a 16 oz. bottle. It can be used in either a one minute or four-minute treatment which can be 80% or 100% effective respectively. The gel is normally used twice a year, in conjunction with prophylaxis, and is for professional use only. The product comes with instructions and warnings to avoid swallowing, seek medical help if accidentally swallowed in large quantities, and to store below 25°C/77°F. The inactive ingredients include Citric Acid, FD&C Red #40, Flavor, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phosphoric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Xanthan Gum, and Xyitol.
