This is a medication called Ciprofloxacin Injection, USP, contained in a flexible plastic bag of 100 mL of 5% Dextrose, to be infused intravenously over an hour as directed by a physician. Each 100 mL bag contains Ciprofloxacin (200 mg), Dextrose Monohydrate (5 g), Lactic Acid (0.644 mg per mL), Water for Injection, USP and Hydrochloric Acid (for pH adjustment to pH 3.5 to 4.6). Additives should not be made to this solution. The container is sterile, nonpyrogenic, preservative-free, PVC-free, DEHP-free, and not made with natural rubber latex. The label includes lot and expiration dates, as well as relevant cautions and instructions. A Medication Guide should be dispensed to each patient. Made by SAGENT Pharmaceuticals in Switzerland.*
