Milrinone Lactate in 5% Dextrose Injection is a single-dose sterile solution for intravenous use. The container and closure are PVC-free and DEHP-free, and do not contain natural rubber latex. Each milliliter of the solution contains 0.2 mg of milrinone lactate, 0.282 mg of lactic acid, and 54.3 mg of dextrose hydrous USP in water for injection USP. The usual dosage should be administered intravenously as directed by a physician. The storage should be at a temperature of 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) and should not be frozen. It should not be used in series connections and should not be administered simultaneously with blood.
