This is a liquid medication formulated to relieve itching and skin irritations caused by insect bites, poison oak, poison sumac, and skin blemishes. The drug comes in a 20 fluid ounce bottle with the active ingredient hydrocortisone in 0.5% concentration. It can be applied topically on the affected area up to three times daily without rubbing, and it's specially formulated to penetrate the skin or scalp to deliver rapid and complete itch relief. However, the medication is not recommended for children under two unless directed by a pediatrician, and it should not be used for extended periods or on large parts of the body. If the symptoms persist or worse, the person should consult a doctor. The medication should be used externally only and kept out of reach of children.*
