This is a drug fact sheet for Minoxidil Topical Solution 2%, a hair regrowth formula for men and women who have general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp. It is necessary to apply one mL 2 times a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area, and using more or more often will not improve results. The product may not work for everyone and continuing the use is necessary for hair retention. Hair regrowth has not been shown to last longer than 48 weeks in large clinical trials with continuous treatment with Minoxidil Topical Solution 2%. It contains propylene glycol and purified water as inactive ingredients. The product is distributed by Loesch Laboratory Consultants, Inc. and is not manufactured or distributed by Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products, distributor of Men's Rogaine® Extra Strength.
