Image Description (Anti Acne Lotion Label)
This is a drug fact sheet for a medication containing 6.6% precipitated sulfur used for treating acne. It clears acne blemishes, pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads, as well as helps prevent new ones from developing. The medication contains inactive ingredients such as purified water, ethyl alcohol, camphor, DMDM Hydantoin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Calcium Oxide, and fragrance. Users are advised to cleanse the skin before using the medication and apply a thin layer over the affected area one to three times daily. It is also recommended to increase the application gradually if necessary and reduce if bothersome dryness or peeling of the skin occurs. Using other topical acne medications simultaneously or immediately after the medication may worsen skin irritation. People should avoid getting the medication into the eyes, and if skin irritation persists, they should discontinue use and seek medical attention.*
