This is a drug information label for an antifungal medication called Miconazole Nitrate 2%. It is used to cure most athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. It provides relief from itching, burning, cracking, scaling and discomfort. This product is not meant for children under two years of age unless advised by a doctor/physician. The product is for external use only. The inactive ingredients in the medicament include benzoic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, mineral oil, Peg-5-cocoate, Peg-7 stearate, and purified water. Proper usage includes washing and drying the affected area, applying the product twice daily or as per physician's supervision, wearing well-fitting, ventilated shoes, and changing shoes and socks at least once a day. If conditions persist, it may require medical attention. The product is not effective for treating scalp or nail fungus.
