Dosage: Adults should take one capsule orally four times per day with plenty of fluids. The dosage for pediatric patients should be determined by a physician for older children. However, it is not recommended for children under the age of six. Make sure to read the product literature for complete prescribing information. Each capsule contains methenamine, sodium phosphate monobasic, phenyl salicylate, methylene blue, and hyoscyamine sulfate. Important precautions: Do not take this medication if you are also taking serotonergic psychiatric medications due to the presence of methylene blue.
