HISTEX is an antihistamine syrup manufactured by Allegis Pharmaceuticals. Each teaspoonful(5 ml) contains Triprolidine HCI, which is effective for relieving runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, and milky, watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies. The product is sugar-free, dye-free, and alcohol-free with a bubble gum flavor. It is advisable to check the attached labeling for complete product information, usual dosage, and other directions. The product should be stored at 15°-30° C (59°-86° F) and dispensed in a tightly closed, light-resistant container with a child-resistant cap. It is tamper-evident by foil seal under the cap. If the foil seal is missing or broken, do not use the syrup. The medication warns not to exceed the recommended dosage and urges to ask a doctor before consumption if one suffers from breathing problems, glaucoma, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, or is taking sedatives or tranquilizers. Excitability may occur, and it may cause drowsiness. Use with caution when driving or operating machinery, and avoid alcoholic beverages.
