Bismuth Subsalicylate 525 mg - peptic relief regular strength original liquid 1
This is a medication called Pepto-Bismol. It is used for upset stomach relief as well as an antidiarrheal. The active ingredient is Bismuth subsalicylate. The bottle has a dosage measuring device included. Adults and children above 12 years old are advised to take 30 ml every hour as needed, not exceeding 240 mL in 24 hours. Children under 12 years old should consult a doctor and drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea. This product is not to be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women or by people allergic to salicylates. It contains 6mg of sodium in every 30ml. The product contains other active ingredients and should be kept away from excessive heat or freezing. In case of overdose, medical help should be sought or Poison Control Center should be contacted right away.*
